(April 2025, ACRP Annual Conference ). This session included Altura’s CEO, Pete Fronte MBA, Rakesh Patel MD (Neighborhood Healthcare – FQHC), Ruma Baghat MD (Genentech), and Osa Eisle, MD (Amgen) were able to share the results of our “Research in Primary Care Action Roundtable”, including tactics for all stakeholders.

Too few research organizations (e.g., sponsors and sites) have access to the large and diverse populations that primary care organizations (PCOs) and their healthcare professionals serve. This session covered the results and easy-to-use, action-oriented tactics from the first-of-its-kind “Research in Primary Care Action Roundtable,” which included participants from PCOs, study sponsors, and study sites. PCOs are healthcare entities focused on delivering first-contact, comprehensive, and continuous care for more than 150 million people in the United States, yet clinical trial and health study access and participation through PCOs continues to be seen at minimal levels.

The call to action for all primary care and research organizations and stakeholders is to act on at least one tactic that’s aligned with your interest. Please also share this slide deck and encourage others to act. We encourage questions, suggestions and sharing of success stories (info@altura.health). SEE MORE: (opens PDF for review or download)
